All abstracts must be submitted through the online form below. Logging within the electronic platform is required prior to abstract submission.

English is the default language for the conference. Written content (abstracts, slides, and posters) needs to be in English, and presenters should be able to participate in an English-based live discussion.

All presenters will be required to register for the conference by 12^th April 2024. Presenters who do not register by this date will not be included in the conference program. We will issue acceptance notices by February 29 so you can proceed with registering. 

Each person is allowed to submit TWO abstracts as a presenting author. However, only one abstract will be accepted as an oral presentation. A person may serve as a non-presenting co-author on several abstracts.

The abstracts will be published Open Access in the  IVES Conference Series and a selection of articles will be published in  OENO One vine and wine Open Access research journal.

We are inviting abstracts for three different types of presentations:

Oral presentations – 15 minutes long (12' for presentation + 3' for questions).

Flash presentations –  5 minutes long (no time for questions).

Prepare your presentations in 16:9 format.

Posters – Posters will be displayed throughout the Conference, to encourage the active participation of attendees a specific temporary slot has been scheduled each day where authors will be able to present their posters and discuss with interested parties.

The size of posters should be DIN A0 (119 x 85 cm; 46.81x33.11 inch) portrait orientation.

Please avoid printing in fabric, as the poster might fall off the pannels.

• All abstracts must be submitted in English.
• Abstracts will be limited to a maximum of 250 words.
• You may provide up to five keywords.
• Submit a one-page Word doc./docx. using the provided template.
• It is the responsibility of the author(s) to ensure that the abstract text does not contain typos or grammatical errors.
• All authors named in the abstract should be listed in the order you would like them to appear in the program.
• Abstracts must be submitted by the presenting author.
• Please select the most appropriate topic from the list in the submission form.

After clicking the "Submit" button on the form page, you will receive a confirmation by email with the identification number of your abstract. You can use this reference for any notification regarding your contribution. If you do not receive this notification, please contact secretary@opengpb2024.com to confirm that your abstract has been received.

You will be able to enter the system and edit your contribution at any time until the submission deadline. Afterwards, you will not be able to modify any element (type of contribution, title, abstract or sequential list of authors).
